That's right ladies and gentlemen...Dan bought us a Playstation 2 along with about 5 games to play on it. Well, I bought a couple of them and called them his very belated birthday present. I bought him Final Fantasy X and some game called Project Eden. Now we know why that one was so cheap. It's just not a very good game....Mostly we bought it so that we could play one of the games together. Dan wanted Soul Caliber 2 (which I know nothing about), but they didn't have it when we went looking (most of the games we bought were used, in order to save us money).
We also got Devil May Cry, Evil Dead: A Fistfull of Boomstick, and Beyond Good and Evil. I don't really go in for the scary/gory/horror games, so I decided to try Beyond Good and Evil. You wouldn't think it's any different from the other titles I listed, but it's not so much a scary/horror game, as it is an interesting discover-the-conspiracy game. There's fighting and stuff....but I think I just prefer the story line to the others.
Though watching Dan play some of those games can be really entertaining. I think he's totally in love with Devil May Cry....he's been playing it since the day we bought it. Well, to be fair, we only got the system and games like 2 days ago...but the amount of time spent playing the game sure tells you a thing or two. Let's just say he plays it a lot! But then again, when he's not playing his game, I'm on the system playing mine....so it's about equal, I guess.
Also, FFX is horribly interesting! Dan's been playing that one a fair bit too (though not as much as the other one). The story line has me totally enthralled!
I think gaming may be bad for me! I hope I can pull myself away for long enough to go to Nanaimo this weekend for Gwen's wedding.
Yes, I'm coming to Nanaimo again this weekend. I'll be up on Thursday, and I'll probably be gone Saturday. Dan's dad says he can give us a ride back. Oh yeah, and somewhere in between the wedding and the reception, I have to go to the dentist! What fun!!
