So...Um...Sam's slowly getting better. We gave him half a baby aspirin (to thin out his blood a little- he's not in any pain) and started him on his physio three times a day. He seems to be able to move most of his legs now...It's down to his feet. And he can almost pull them under his body now.
I was hoping to write a more positive blog today, as I feel really bad having dished out all of this bad news. Here's what I came up with:
Dan and I went to go see Shrek 2 just before we picked up Sam from the animal hospital. I gotta say, that it was a very sorely needed good laugh. I would definitely see this movie in a theatre again. It was just hilarious. I recommend it to everyone. If you don't laugh at any point in this movie, there's something wrong with you.
Of course, it's got the same people from the first movie- Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, etc. But it's also got Julie Andrews as Fiona's mother, John Cleese as Fiona's father, and Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots!
Now, sequels rarely live up to the originals, most of us can agree on that. I really think that this was just as good as the first one. I haven't laughed that hard in a theatre for as long as I can remember!
You MUST see this movie at least once. I will totally be buying this one when it comes to DVD.
...Again I apologize for all the negative posts of late. I don't know about anyone else, but Sam means a lot to me. I imagine that I'm not alone when I say that he's just like a member of my family, and I would be no less upset if it had been one of my sisters or my parents. But I understand if you're sick about reading up on the progress of my cat, and how well he can use the litter box. ;-)
I'll try to keep future posts on his condition down to a paragraph or two and then try to find something else to talk about. Thanks to those who have been patient listened to me vent about this for the past few days.
