~George- Ninja Champion
No one has probably ever seen this movie. It's a terrible Ninja movie that Ward bought for me for Christmas. As I've said in a previous blog nothing makes me laugh as hard as when Ward and I watch a bad movie together. Mostly it's the commentaries the two of us come up with as we watch. For instance, the above quote happens when the phone rings, and George answers it.
George: Hello? Who is this?
Female voice: It's Rose.
George: (lowering the phone from his ear slowly with a dreamy look on his face)(whispers) Rose...
*Short flash-back of George and Rose having fun camping*
*Back to present (you can no longer see the phone in the shot)*
George: (whispers) Where are you, Rose?
Well, I assume he's still got the phone in his hand and he can just ask her, as she's probably still on the line, waiting for some kind of a response.
Anyway, Ward, his new girlfriend, Ayla, Dan and I all watched this the other night, and we all just laughed as hard as we could at it. It was my second time watching it, and the end still doesn't make any sense. I still don't know if Rose died half-way through the movie or not. All of a sudden she has a twin sister that comes out of nowhere and is never really explained. People are even whipped with shoe laces! And they look like they're in pain!! Well, I'd be in pain too, if I had been in this movie.
Anyway, Ward and Ayla couldn't stay as long as they would have liked. They were supposed to be going to a wedding the next day, and this guy made their trip as impossible as one person could make it. He didn't even want to really go (at least that's what I gathered from the conversation) Anyway, they had to leave super early in the morning after not getting to our place until 11:30 or so that night. And then no one got to bed until like 2:00 in the morning anyway. Oh well...Next time...
Oh yeah, and Ward's new girlfriend is super-cute, and they look so happy together. Especially Ward. Every time he talks about her he gets really happy and sorta giddy. I'm happy for him, cuz he seemed kinda depressed for a while...All seems to be well now though. I think he's one of my favourite people, so I'm really glad he's happy! :-)
I kinda sound like a gossipy 12 year old, so I think I'm gonna stop this blog here.
