So, as I said last night, I watched Kill Bill Vol. 1 for the first time. I can't believe I didn't see this earlier! It was just fantastic! I don't suggest it for people who don't like seeing a lot of blood, though it's so over done that it reaches comic proportions. There is no possible way that a human body can spray that much blood all over the room! Hahahaha... Dan and I had a good laugh over a lot of the fight scenes for that reason. But, my GOD. The fight scenes were spectacular at the same time. Just awesome!
I get the very strong feeling that this movie was set up just like it was a live-action anime. There's even a sequence totally done in anime. But I like that style. All I can say now, is that I have to, have to, HAVE TO see Vol. 2 now. I would love to see it on the big screen, but I think I may have missed my chance. It was out a month or so ago, so I don't know what theatres may still be playing it. I'll have to take a look.
I'm really glad I rented this movie. It's finally pulled me out of my funk from earlier this week, and my train wreck of an audition on Friday.
