NOTE - Those who are sensitive to issues of animal cruelty may want to skip the link I'm giving in this entry (possibly this entry altogether).
So I was checking my Hotmail account and cleaning up my inbox a little. When I finished, I came to the all too familiar page that Hotmail automatically goes to when you sign out. Sometimes I check the articles if they catch my eye.
Today, there was an article about a film festival that will be showing a documentary about 3 young men who tortured and killed a cat in 2001.
It's not necessarily the fact that they'll be showing this documentary that's so horrible, as the fact that there are people who are will to do something like that to any living thing just for a frigging (there would be stronger language, but my mom may be reading) laugh. Not only that, they recorded it for posterity! What, were they all gonna sit around later and watch it again to make sure they didn't miss anything do draw out the poor things suffering a little longer? That's just sick! The whole affair is just sick!
If karma exists (and I sincerely hope is does), I wouldn't want to be in any of their shoes (Not that I would EVER do that to anything, EVER!).
Just reading that article made me want to cry. It really make me scared for my cat. Just the thought of him being scared and alone, and then also being put through terrible pain for no other reason than that he was there...
It just breaks my heart.
