Advertisement: WILL DO LITTLE FOR VAST AMOUNTS OF MONEY

I find myself with far too much free time these days. I don't want to go back to the mall, but I don't know what else I can do with the skills I have at the moment either. Dan likes to joke about how, when he wins the lottery, I won't have to worry about any of it. Unfortunately, I can't wait that long.

I find myself getting depressed, and lazier than usual. There's piles of laundry, and a kitchen full of dirty dishes. Every time I think I should do something about them, I get side-tracked, and the work piles up a little more.

Dan says I should apply for the UVic School of Music again, but I really don't know if I can take another rejection. I was thinking about trying at UBC, but if I was going to move, I would want to do it with Dan. If you think I'm depressed and bored now, just watch what happens if I ever live alone!

Yesterday, Dan and I decided to go for a walk to find the place where we would be voting. I needed to register as well, and since neither of us were doing anything, I thought it would at least be a nice walk. Unfortunately, neither of us thought to check the exact whereabouts of this elementary school that was our destination, so we ended up walking down Gordon Head for hours before we finally called Dan's mom for directions. It turns out that we had walked right past it close to the beginning of our walk. Dan's mom was nice enough to come pick us up and drive us there, but the damage was already done. My back was already crispy like bacon, and bright red.

On the way home, Dan's mom dropped us off at the grocery store so that we could find something for dinner that wouldn't require our oven (it was way too hot to be cooking in our little suite). We settled on some deli sandwiches, and macaroni salad. It was pretty damn good, too.

The rest of the night was pretty uneventful. Except that I finished my second game ever. Final Fantasy IX has now been completed. Now on to Final Fantasy X.
